Apocalypse

(From the Greek unveiling, revelation) is a genre of religious literature in which the imminent end of the world is predicted in prophetic visions. The realization of the kingdom of God is expected in the Christian theological context after the complete collapse of this world with the annihilation of Satan. In the narrower sense, Apocalypse means the last book of the Bible, The Book of Revelation.
