Prayer Book

Contains texts for the private devotion and prayer of a layperson, e.g. prayers in the course of the day such as morning and evening prayers, prayers on special liturgical occasions such as communion and confession, or intercession for the deceased. In contrast to the book of hours, there is no fixed canon for the prayer book and no fixed time for performing the prayers.
