In the Middle of Europe: Join Us at the 2018 Leipzig Book Fair in Beautiful Leipzig

Tonight we will shortly touch base with you from our booth at the local trade show in the "book city" of Leipzig.

Despite the sudden onset of winter in central Germany (even Leipzig Central Station was closed today due to the masses of snow and ice), thousands of book lovers are finding their way into the exhibition halls. The organizers are expecting more than 200,000 visitors this year!

For everyone who cannot be there this year, we have put together a small photo album from the fair.

Even before the first visitors are admitted, our neighbor from the Saarland takes a first picture of us and our fully equipped stand
Shortly after admission - the fair opens at 10 a.m. every day - the art section is already very well attended
There are many interesting discussions from the start
And what is there to see with us? Among others, innovations such as the Charlemagne's Godescalc Evangelistary and the Voynich Manuscript...
The facsimile of the Voynich manuscript, which has just been completed, arrived from Spain two days before the fair!
When you first leaf through it, you will be impressed by its excellent quality, its elaborate binding, and the incredible attention to detail
There is a happy, excited “book atmosphere” the whole day
We are also happy to take newcomers to the facsimile field on a journey into medieval illumination
We have brought along an interesting selection from our stock of over 500 facsimiles
Of course, such a trade show is always an opportunity to meet with "old acquaintances" (like here from Warsaw)
