Binding: Published between 1972 and 1984 as a twelve-volume set, including volume I, an introduction by A. S. George (1984). The volumes are available separately; each facsimile volume has a brief introduction. Published under the auspices of Egypt’s Ministry of Antiquities and in collaboration with UNESCO.

Complete reproduction of the original “Nag Hammadi Codices” at its original size. The facsimile aims to reproduce the original’s appearance, feel and physical characteristics as faithfully as possible. The binding may differ from the original’s present-day binding. Monochrome collotype reproductions at original size of all leaves of the thirteen codices, with reproductions of the covers and earlier photographs of fragments now lost. The pages are presented on a larger white background.
